Hi to rusian friends from poland, i came here to ask about jegor letow. I dont know any other place where could i ask russians about something xD so there is question. Is grażdanskaja oborona popular in russia? Are they well known in some communities like punks or something? How many russians know about them and what they think about them. If i posted on wrong board please move the thread.
>>228836964 (OP) odpowiem ci cytatem z jednego z jego wywiadów. - Jegor, co sądzisz o polskiej interwencji na Ukrainie - achahah (śmieje się), świerkowe bestie pełzają po oskalnych liściach opadającego nieba.
>>228837423 May be, like Neil Young. Everybody knows Letov. It is a big part of Russian culture. There are a lot reference to his song from another singers
>>228837884 Yeah but its nonsense, it says something about polish intervention in Ukraine and then there are some Words that doesnt make any sense. Please write it in English
>>228836964 (OP) 1) >Is grażdanskaja oborona popular in russia It's not like everyone knows about them, but it's notable. There are listeners among wide range of generations. You may see a 50 years old guy and 14 years old girl listening to their songs. 2)>Are they well known in some communities like punks or something Absolutely they are well known among punks. 3)>How many russians know about them and what they think about them. I can not answer you with the numbers.
Grazhdanskaya oborona are a legend among the Russian rock community, but the community is rather despised by regular Russians who call them "govnari", I guess as a polyak you can understand the meaning without translation.
There is one russin underground band called "death certificate". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sy4uekPP8So&t=424s The name of this band was taken from some another underground polish band. Do you know something about them? I tried hard to google something about, but unsuccessfully.
So, can you reccommend some underground polish bands of 80s-90s?
>>228838866 Гей поляк, я буду кликати тебе поляк. Поки у тебе немає пруфів що ти поляк, у мене немає пруфів, що старий випив багато і помер від блювоти. Розумієш?
>>228836964 (OP) I guess Letow is still popular even among young fellows born in 21 century. However, nobody or rather not all of the people at least, show openly the fact they know about him and listen his music. When playing guitar you need some shots of wodka to they get singing OOOOOO MOJA OBORONA.
>>228836964 (OP) Egor Letov only popular among the some group of young people (16-25 years usually), calling themselves as "govnary" (shitters, or something similar maybe). They call themselves that because they prefer to listen rough and low-quality music like Letov, and are proud of it. I need to notice, that the existence of "govnary" today is a big problem for most of Russian psychologists.
I dont know whats happening in this thread, is there an ukrainian? In Poland we love ukrainians, the girls are very easy or cheap and really cute ans the guys work for pennies. They are like mexixans to americans or like poles for germans
>>228840306 No, they are not junkies. For the most part they are quite lonely and offended by life young people, who have not fully became adult and continued their teenage "rebellion" in the key of listening to unpopular monotonous music like Letov, wearing long hair and drinking cheap alcohol in a circle of like-minded people...
>>228836964 (OP) But. Letov is popular not only among punklikes young guys. Egor Letov is very popular among intellegence people, because texts of Letov very deep, strange, unordinary and have some political sense.
